About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Entry-Level Solar Installer to join our growing team at Uprise Solar! This is a great opportunity to start a career in the renewable energy industry. As a Solar Installer, you will assist in the installation of residential and commercial solar panel systems. No prior solar experience is required, just a willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work safely on rooftops.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of photovoltaic (PV) solar systems on rooftops and ground mount
- Load and unload equipment, panels, and tools at job sites
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized worksite
- Use basic hand and power tools under supervision
- Support experienced team members in wiring, mounting, and system layout
- Learn and follow company and industry installation standards
- Perform basic maintenance or troubleshooting under guidance
- Communicate respectfully with team members, supervisors, and customers
Qualifications:
- Comfortable working on rooftops and ladders (heights)
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and follow directions
